ROUTE N°9 Ponte di Legno / Precasaglio / Arsen / Precasaglio / Pezzo / Talas / Ponte di Legno

This route has no remarkable slopes, but is really nice as well, both up- and downhill on the dirt roads that run alongside the two slopes of the Valle di Pezzo.

Starting from Pontedilegno, reach the center of the hamlet Precasaglio and take Via San Rocco turning sharply to the left. At the end of the town, following the ups and downs of the renovated "Carolingian road", can start the off-road route itself. Once the military road of Sommalbosco; going up until the third bend and at the fork, go right towards Arsen, beautiful Glade to share 1574 dominating the Valley of Pontedilegno. Continue to bear right and, once in the vicinity of the last hut, proceed very carefully the next time a steep descent (the less able you should handle it by foot). Finished the steep stretch, take the road that goes beyond Avèrta Valley and descends to Precasaglio. It is not unlikely in this sudden encounter some deer. When you reach the paved road, follow it until the Bridge of oxen, where you cross the highway del Gavia and continue straight along the "old road". After three turns on dirt roads to reach the lower part of the town and at the crossroads, you continue to the right slightly downhill until you cross the stream Arcanello. The next two km of flat road allow more tired to rest and to most trained to exploit the relationship. Talas homes joints drop right down to meadows and take the path marked by the C.A.I. trail # 2. Facing prudently the steep descent (it is easy to meet hikers that climb the trail) can be reached again Pontedilegno.
